Description
We will car pool to the start of the hike in Hillsburgh. The trail passes through mixed farmland and the village of Erin. The trail is mostly open with forest canopy in some locations. The trail is a former railway corridor and therefore flat. We can expect to make a brisk pace. Hiking boots are optional.
After the hike those so inclined may gather at a restaurant in Erin to replace electrolytes.
The meeting point for the hike is where the Elora Cataract Trail crosses Mississauga Road about 3.5 km north along Mississauga Road from Belfountain.
