Description
Bruce Trail Day is an annual celebration of the Bruce Trail and the wonders of the Niagara Escarpment, hosted by the Bruce Trail Conservancy at each of its Bruce Trail Clubs.
Join us for the FREE guided hikes to help you explore the Bruce Trail and discover the amazing variety of life along the Niagara Escarpment. We'll also have a tent area where you can meet Board Members, other BTC members and hikers. Come and learn about our year-round hiking programs, volunteer opportunities, and what we are doing to preserve a ribbon of wilderness in southern Ontario from Niagara to Tobermory.
Everyone is welcome! We invite nature lovers, hikers of all levels, and anyone wanting to venture onto the Bruce Trail for the first time, or the hundredth time, to join us.
This hike with take us west to King Road, then onto King Side trail down into a little valley, back toward City View for a great view of Burlington and the lake, then down into Kerncliffe Park within the forest. And then back up to the top.
As this is a Passport to Nature event, you will receive a sticker for your Passport: Collect 4 stickers and get a badge, collect 9 different colour stickers and receive a BTC store gift card.
