Description
Welcome to the 5th Iroquoia Club Bruce Trail Book Club. - "Boots and Books".
Our book this month is "Woman, Watching" by Merilyn Simonds. Please check your local library for available copies of the book.
In this out and back hike, we'll start at Snake Road (free roadside parking - 10 vehicles) and follow the main trail to Smokey Hollow waterfall where we can stop at the falls and have a snack then we'll turn around and follow the main trail back to Snake Road. It should take us about 2.5 hours. Please wear suitable footwear, dress for the weather and bring poles as there are some steep sections. Please bring enough snacks and water suitable for the length/duration of the hike. It is not necessary to bring the book, but you are more than welcome if you'd like to. The hike is open to everyone whether you have read the book or not, but there may be spoilers. Registration will be open to 8 people to keep it more intimate for discussing the book.
If your plans change, please cancel your registration, so that people who are on the waitlist may join. To cancel your registration, please follow these steps:
