Location (Google Maps): Meet at Bruce Trail Parking at the Massie Hills Management Area. This is on the west side of 6th Concession South, south of Side Road 6, north of Side Road 3. From here we will do a short car shuttle to the Bighead River on 4th Concession South

Description
Our hike starts in the Bighead River Valley. This portion may be muddy, depending on weather conditions, so waterproof boots are a must, and gaiters are recommended. We then enjoy a long, steep climb up the escarpment and will be rewarded with lovely views across the fields to the south. We'll travel beside pastures and hike through a forest. We finish the hike with a lovely loop in the Massie Hills area. Please note that due to the length and steepness of the climb, this hike is suitable for fit and experienced hikers.
