Description

Join us this Thanksgiving weekend for a hike along the Humber River, down to Humber Bay, and up to High Park as we share our love for nature.

We’ll begin at the Old Mill Public Parking Lot and finish at High Park Station.
If you plan to drive, please bring your Presto Card or Visa Card to take the subway from High Park Station back to Old Mill Station after the hike.

Along the way, we’ll visit the Wayne Crockett (TBTC Former Hike Leader) Tree and Bench to honor and appreciate his dedication to our community.

Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes early for check-in. Our route will take us through Étienne Brûlé Park, where we’ll keep an eye out for the salmon run. We’ll then continue towards Humber Bay for a lunch break, before heading to High Park where our hike will end.

The trail is a mixture of pavement and natural paths. As we’ll be sharing the trail with other users, we’ll be mindful and keep to the right at all times.

Don’t forget to bring enough water and snacks/lunch, and check the weather forecast to dress appropriately.

Looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday, October 11 at 9:45-10:00 AM.
