Distance: 10 kms
Description
This hike will attempt to follow the footsteps of those who fought in the Battle of Queenston Heights, October 13, 1812. In particular, it will recognize the contribution of the Six Nations warriors. We will stop at several points of interest for information to be shared.
Part of the hike is through an overgrown wooded area, not part of the Bruce Trail, where hikers will need to navigate over and/or around fallen trees. There is a steep climb up the escarpment. Footing may be poor in places, particularly if there has been rain. Long pants and hiking poles are recommended.
