Join us for a Family Day hike starting at McCurdy Dr Parking. We'll hike 11 km round-trip to the 45th Parallel Geodetic marker, a spot halfway between the equator and the North Pole. The terrain is moderate to difficult. depending on trail conditions. Dress appropriately for variable weather, and bring icer's if needed—safety is paramount, and adjustments will be made for inclement weather. Expect a 4-5 hour commitment, striking a balance between outdoor exploration and quality time. After the hike, unwind at Lion’s Head Rotary Hall with hot chocolate, board games, and music. It's more than a hike; an opportunity to connect with nature and the community, with the 45th parallel north adding a special touch to our outing.
