    Pace: Leisurely <3 km/hr
Terrain: Easy: mostly flat, good footing
    Distance: 6 km

    Description

Join us for a relaxed hike around Queenston Heights, with a few stops along the way to sketch what catches your eye. These outings are about slowing down, observing the world more closely, and practising concentration, attention, and creativity.

No artistic experience is needed. The focus isn’t on creating a perfect drawing or meeting any standard—it’s simply about noticing, exploring, and enjoying the process. Over the coming months, we’ll return to Queenston Heights on different hikes, gradually building a personal collection of small sketches inspired by the changing landscape.

    Please bring:

A small blank notebook/sketchbook. It doesn’t need to be quality paper. A spiral binding makes it easier to open flat.

A small selection of any of these: coloured pencils, graphite pencils, markers or ink pens and an eraser.

Not necessary but nice- a small lightweight stool

Dress as you would for an easy hike.  Bring snack, water, poles and bug spray.
