The first sections are more rugged starting in the Allegany State Park and extend through the ski area of Ellicottville. This will be a full weekend of hiking. The drive to the start of the first hike is 2 hrs from Niagara Falls. It is recommend that you stay overnight for these two hikes. There are plenty of options in Ellicottville and the surrounding area.
