Please join us for our very first Camino Hike. If you are curious about hiking a camino or would like to share information about hiking a camino, please join us for this hike. Everyone is welcome.

Please bring enough water and snacks. We will hike about 8km return. Please bring your icers in case of slippery conditions and dress for the weather.

First Day Hike 2025 – January 1st – Mount Nemo (Brisk Pace Hike, about 8km-10km, departure time 9:00am)

Welcome to our annual Volunteer Appreciation Event!  We welcome all volunteers, members and anyone who needs to start the new year off right – with a hike!

In the event of weather conditions, which may prevent us from holding this event on January 1, the alternative date will be January 4. Same time and place. Please register so that notification can be sent to everyone in case of postponement.

Souvenir badges will be available for $5, once again.

Meet at the north end of the parking lot. Please dress for the weather forecast and bring your icers just in case.

We will hike both the North and South Loops of Mt Nemo at a brisk pace taking in the views. This hike will include a visit to the old quarry.

Chedoke to Iroquoia Heights

Description

Meeting at the Chedoke Parking Lot we will climb the Radial Trail into Iroquoia Heights returning along Scenic Dr.  We’ll take the stairs down at Cliffview and exit halfway for a final small loop and return to the parking lot.

To bring:
