    Description

    We will hike on the Lynn Valley Trail to Port Dover for lunch (fish and chips anyone?), then hike back to our cars. In memory of Mickey Macdonald, who lead this enjoyable hike the first time I did it.

Wear appropriate quick-dry clothing and hiking boots. Bring sunscreen, insect repellent (summer), icers (winter), snacks, lunch, a personal first aid kit , and 1-2 litres of water. During COVID, also bring hand sanitizer and a face mask. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early. If you are unable to attend, in addition to cancelling on the BTC hikes web page, please email me the day before, or text me if it is <2 hours before the hike. There is often a waiting list, so the more advance notice you give, the better.

    Distance: Approx. 10 km.

    Description

    The Credit River Meander hike is now located in the Halton Agreement Forest, east of Guelph Line. Meet at the corner of 10th Sidroad and Fourth Line Nassagaweya. Go north on Guelph Line until you come to 10th Sideroad. Turn east or right and continue until the road turns left and becomes Fourth Line Nassagaweya. Park on the roadside. Please arrive by 9:15 am. for a 10:00 am. start. Bring water, a snack, icers and poles if using.

    Description

    Starting at Sam Lawrence Park on the “mountain” in Hamilton, this there-and-back hike will take us along the escarpment, taking in panoramic views of Hamilton, Hamilton Harbour and Lake Ontario.   We will be on paved paths but there may be icy sections.  Bring icers, water and snack.

    Description

    Join us for a loop hike in the Halton Agreement Forest taking in ice-caked waterfalls, beaver dams and beaver ponds.  We will see a lot of water on the move as Spring approaches.  The trail will be icy which means icers are essential.  Please bring some warm drinks, water, a snack and a lunch.  Please arrive at 9 am to be ready to go at 9:15 am.

    From 401 north on Trafalger Rd, left on HWY #7, left 0n sidereal #22 and left on Fifth Line to access to baseball diamonds  just south east of Limehouse.Loop hike. We will hike main trail,Canada Goose side trail and Black Creek trail. No dogs.Bring water,lunch. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early before start on hike.
