    Description

    We will meet at the last parking lot on Martin Road, off Jerseyville Road, Ancaster (behind the Community Centre) and hike the Headwaters trail and other minor trails in the Dundas Valley. Please bring water, a snack/lunch, proper footwear, sunscreen, bug spray, poles if you use them. COVID protocols in place.

    Location (Google Maps): Meet at the Little League Baseball field across from the Ancaster Lions Club Pool on the Jerseyville Road. Directions: From Hamilton take 403 to West. Exit at Wilson St in Ancaster. Turn right on Wilson St. At the traffic take the exit right onto Meadowbrook St (3rd exit). Take Meadowbrook to Jerseyville Side Rd. and turn right. Just pass the high school the Little League Park is on the right at the bottom of the hill.

    Description

    Dundas Valley is a beautiful place to hike with its many valleys and hills. Join us to hike a couple of loops, Sawmill Valley and the Main Loop. Many changes will have taken place over the summer and we may see some early signs of Fall. Meet at 9:45 am. for a 10:00 am. start in the last parking lot of the Dundas Valley Conservation Area on Governor’s Rd., west of downtown Dundas. Map 8. Bring water, a snack/lunch, sunscreen, insect repellent and poles if using. Covid protocols in place.

    Description

    Celebrate Labour Day with a lovely loop hike in the Dundas Valley. We take in part of the Bruce Trail and several DVCA trails.  Lots of waterfalls like Sherman, Canterbury, and Cascade. A splendid way to start Fall.  We might even break out into song.  It’s been known to happen.  Please bring lunch, 3L of water, snacks, hiking boots, poles and lots of smiles.  Entrance fee to DVCA in effect at gate.  Consider buying a Hamilton Conservation Area annual pass. It’s well worth it.  Go TiCats go!

    Description

    Meet at the RBG Arboretum (Nature Center) parking lot at 9:45 AM for a 10 AM start. This is an easy hike, a few hills. Bring water, snack and you might need bug spray since the mosquitos have been biting lately.
