    Description

Always a beautiful place to hike, Sixteen Mile Creek is hidden gem within the urban setting of Glen Abby and River Oaks. Meet at 9:45 am. for a 10:00 am. start. We will explore the many trails both above and below the Sixteen Mile Creek. This valley was home to many mills in the early years of the settlements around Oakville. No evidence of them remains to this day. Bring water, a snack or lunch. You may want to bring your poles as we will be climbing and descending a number of long, gentle slopes.
