Location (Google Maps): Parking at Paramount Park (1170 Paramount Drive), on East Hamilton escarpment. GPS Coordinates: (43.203023 -79.799399). From the Red Hill Valley Parkway, exit onto Mud Street. At the first set of lights, turn left onto Winterberry Drive, which becomes Paramount Drive. After the bend to the right, look for the park on your left-hand side. (Bruce Trail Reference, Map 7)

Pace: Brisk – 4 to 5 km/hr
Terrain: Strenuous – Hilly with steep climbs and some poor footing
Distance: 15 kmDescription
We will hike into the Red Hill Valley and back along the Main Bruce Trail, with some loops using the Mountain Brow and Red Hill Creek side trails and the Escarpment Rail Trail. If there are icy/wintry conditions, you will need icers, and poles recommended. We will hike at a brisk pace, stopping once or twice for a snack break. Bring snacks and water.Pop Up Scotsdale Farm

Join us for an 18 km walk in the woods on the Bennett Heritage ST, the Roberts ST, the Irwin Quarry ST, the Great Esker ST and the Main Trail connecting them all. Please bring a lunch, a snack, a warm drink and icers (just in case). Covid protocols will be respected. Please arrive at 8:45 for a 9 am start. This hike uses a combination of hiking and biking trails in the Halton Agreement Forest. It will take us to Hilton Falls and back in a circular route.Bring snacks/lunch water and poles if you use them. The hike is for BTC members only although you can bring a guest. Please pre register online. You will receive a list of items to bring and Covid protocols.
