Celebrate the long weekend and the best hiking season of the year with a 17 km stroll taking in a series of loops that will include the Hole in the Wall, the Black Creek Side Trail, the 17 Sideroad Side Trail, part of the Vanderleck Side Trail, the Canada Goose Side Trail and the Main Trail connecting them all. Location (Google Maps): County Road 19 (Prince of Wales Rd) Parking Area. GPS Coordinates: (44.100049 -80.137339). From Orangeville, take Hwy #10 north. At Primrose, where #10 meets Hwy #89, go straight through the lights and you will be on Country Road 19. When the road bends to the right, look for the parking area on your right-hand side. A loop hike in Boyne Valley Provincial Park, using the Main Trail and various side trails: Prince of Wales ST, Primrose Loop ST, Boyne Valley ST and Murphy’s Pinnacle ST. Hoping for a clear day to enjoy magnificent views from Pinnacle Rock. We will hike at a brisk pace, stopping once or twice for a snack break. Bring snacks and water.
