Terrain: Moderate – Some hills and/or some poor footing
    Distance: 6 km

    Description

Meet in the parking lot of Battlefield Park at the corner of King Street and Centennial Parkway, Stoney Creek. From the QEW follow Centennial Pkwy south to where it intersects with King Street. If coming from the Lincoln Alexander Pkwy and north on the Red Hill Valley Pkwy, turn right on King Street West and continue east to the intersection of King Street and Centennial.

We will carpool to Kingsview Drive off Mud Street on the mountain. The hike overall is downhill, although the trail has ups and downs. There are views of Lake Ontario and we pass by Felker’s Falls. There is one section where the descent is steeper. A shorter but good hike for a hot summer day.

    Bring water and a snack.
