    Gentle/Beginners Hike

    Description

    Scotsdale Farm is always an interesting place to hike. The Bennett family farmed this area for many years and donated it to the Ontario Heritage Foundation. Using main and blue side trails we will explore this lovey area. Expect some rocks but generally good terrain. Bring a snack and water. To reach the farm go north on Trafalgar Rd. until you get to the entrance, hard to see. It will be on your right. ( For a short time Trafalgar Rd. and Highway 7 are the same.     We will hike in/out from Fisher Access to Guelph Line through beautiful woodland with a few strenuous hills.

    Oakville many ravines provide some interesting and good trails. We will explore some of these ravines. Meet in the parking lot of the Oakville Municipal offices on the east side of Trafalgar Rd. just north of the QEW and on the south side of White Oaks Blvd. Park in the area facing Trafalgar Rd.
