Distance: 10 km with a shorter option available.Description
We will meet at roadside parking on Heritage Rd and hike west along the main trail, through Terra Cotta Conservation Area. We will return along the Terra Cotta Side Trail (Caledon Trailway) to Heritage Rd. Terrain is mostly flat, with some hills, and a steep section. This is a 10km hike. Please bring lunch, snacks and water.Note: There are many options for those wishing a shorter hike.

Celebrate the coming summer season on one of the longest days of the year and hike 56km in one day! Earn your White Trillium Badge while experiencing the beauty of the Dufferin Hi-Land Bruce Trail section. There will be checkpoints along the way with volunteers offering assistance, snacks and refreshments, which will keep you fuelled to finish this one-day End-to-End challenge.The bus leaves at 6:30am from the Mono Community Centre parking lot in Mono Centre. Registration is $55 for members, $65 for non-members and includes shuttle bus service, checkpoint snacks and refreshments, White Trillium Badge (must complete full hike to earn badge), and post-hike refreshments. - 20June 20, 2023

For car pooling, meet at the parking area on the east side of Party City/Winners building (Hwy 10 and 4th Ave.) in Orangeville at 8:30 am. Otherwise meet at roadside parking on the east side of Creditview Rd., immediately north of the Grange Sideroad intersection. From the parking area we will descend the escarpment via the Devil’s Pulpit and enter the Ring Kiln Side Trail to investigate the ruins of a Hoffman lime kiln. We will then hike down to the Forks of the Credit Rd., where we will follow the the Trimble Side Trail on the road beside the West Credit River to hike the circular Crow’s Nest Side Trail before returning to the parking area. The short hike can return to the cars after exploring the Ring Kiln.Bring water, lunch, snacks, sunscreen and insect repellant. Hiking poles are recommended.
