    Location (Google Maps): Dufferin Hi-Land Section, Map 20. Meet at roadside parking on the east side of Prince of Wales Rd (Dufferin Rd 19), where the Primrose Loop Side Trail crosses the road about .7 km north of the bridge.

    Terrain: Slippery and Steep Sections, Moderate
    Distance: Long Hike: 5.6 km; Short Hike: 3.5 km

    Description

    We will hike the side trail loop west of Dufferin Rd 19. The longer hike will continue up and back to the intersection with the Main Trail. Bring icers and/or snowshoes.

    Terrain: Moderate, Slippery and Steep Sections
    Distance: 4.4 km; Short hike 3.0 km

    Description

    We will hike down Black Bank hill and continue on the Main Trail to Dufferin Rd 21 and back. Black Bank hill usually has a very large snow drift at the top of the hill at this time of year. Snowshoes may be essential. Icers could be required depending on conditions.

    Dufferin Hi-Land, Map 20. Meet at roadside parking on 2nd Line EHS about 300 metres north of 8 Sideroad . From Hwy 89 east of Hwy 10, turn north on 1st Line EHS and go north for 4.5 km to 8 Sideroad. Turn right and park just past the curve where the main trail turns east off the road.

    Description

    We will hike north on the Main Trail to Moss Haven Side Trail, returning by way of the Main Trail and Oliver Creek Side Trail. Option to shorten hike by turning back before Moss Haven Side Trail. Bring snowshoes, icers, water, snacks, lunch.
