    Location (Google Maps): Dufferin Hi-Land Section, Map 19. We will meet on 25 Sideroad Mono at the intersection of 2nd Line EHS. From Hwy 10 drive east on 25 Sideroad for about 3.5 km. Park on the south side of the roadway where the Walter Tovell Side Trail intersects with the road.

    Description

    We will hike a loop consisting of the Walter Tovell, McCarston’s Lake and Lookout Side Trails and the Main Trail. The shorter hike will cut off of the Walter Tovell Side Trail at the Lookout Trail and return from the North Lookout. Bring icers, water, snacks. Snowshoes may be required.

    Location (Google Maps): Dufferin Hi-Land, Map 20. Meet at roadside parking on 2nd Line EHS about 300 metres north of 8 Sideroad . From Hwy 89 east of Hwy 10, turn north on 1st Line EHS and go north for 4.5 km to 8 Sideroad. Turn right and park just past the curve where the main trail turns east off the road.

    Description

    We will hike north on the Main Trail to Moss Haven Side Trail, returning by way of the Main Trail and Oliver Creek Side Trail. Option to shorten hike by turning back before Moss Haven Side Trail. Bring snowshoes, icers, water, snacks, lunch.

    Location (Google Maps): Blue Mountains Section, Map 22. Meet at Nottawasaga Bluffs Conservation Area parking on 15/16 Sideroad, Nottawasaga. From Shelburne, drive north on County Rd 124 to Singhampton. Follow Rd 124 east/right at the stop sign, then turn right onto Mill Town, then almost immediately left onto Ewing Rd. Turn left/east on Sideroad 17&18, then follow around the bend onto Conc 10 South and left onto 15/16 Sideroad. Parking area is about .4 km ahead. Parking fee applies.

    Location (Google Maps): Caledon Hills Section, Map 18. Meet at roadside parking on Dunby Rd (Km 68.0). From Hwy 10, drive east on Mono Centre Rd. Where the road turns sharply north, turn south onto 2nd Line EHS. Dunby Rd is the first road to the left/east. Parking is about .6 km east on the south side, where the Main Trail joins the road.

    Location (Google Maps): Dufferin Hi-Land Section, Map 20. Meet at roadside parking on Dufferin Rd 19/Prince of Wales Rd about 2 km north of Primrose. From the intersection of Hwy 10 and Hwy 89 in Primrose, drive north on Dufferin Rd 19. Roadside parking is on the east side about .8 km past the bridge, where the Primrose Loop Side Trail crosses the road.

    Description

    We will hike the Primrose Loop Side Trail loop west of Dufferin Rd 19 and up the hill east of the road crossing to the Main Trail, then on to Murphy’s Pinnacle and return. The shorter hike ends includes only the loop west of Dufferin Rd 19. Bring icers, water and snacks. Snowshoes may be required.
