We will explore Valleyview and Maple View parks, and walk along German Mill Creak, in return we stop in Huntington park and have snack under beautiful shed.Although this is considered an “Urban Walk”, you can expect some hills up and down and uneven surfaces with tree roots. From the parking area – 263 Jerseyville Rd. West – we will access the Spring Valley Trail and connect to the Dundas Valley hiking trails. We will visit the historic cabin, built by the first black settlers and to the Hermitage ruins. We will continue on the trails and then return to the parking area at the pool parking lot.Dress warmly for the weather, bring snacks, beverage of choice, consider thermos with warm drink.

Please meet at 9:45 for a 10am start.
We wiil walk the Bayfront path to the canal and continue to the Cathedral. We will then walk side streets to the Hamilton Convention Centre.
Hamilton Soupfest supports the Living Rock Youth Centre. You receive 4 soup samples. You can pay at the door $25 or online $20 at www.livingrock.ca/soupfest.
After soup and voting we can walk back to the cars along Bay St as a group or on your own.
