If coming by subway/bus, go to the Woodbine Station and take bus 92 south, one stop past Queen. Walk a few minutes east to the Donald Summerville Olympic Pool. We meet on the south side, facing the water. There are public restrooms available there. Please be there by 8:50.

Difficulty: EasyJoin me for a walk through High Park and along the waterfront to the jewels on the west end, Humber Bay Park East and West. We’ll continue the walk by trail and road back north to Bloor Street between Islington and Royal York.
Meet me in front of the Grenadier Restaurant in High Park for a 10 am departure. If it is open at that point I’ll be inside by 9:30 that morning. It is about a 15 minute easy walk from High Park Station.
We will be practicing social distancing during the walk and I will enforce the 10 person limit.

Silent Valley Nature Reserve is the sheltered site that includes the remains of an old barn, stone fences and dug well from original Wilson Homestead, signs of glacer meltwater erosion and a variety of fossils 430 M yrs old. The side trail loops into the main trail which climbs and traverses a section of the escarpment. Map 30.
