Location (Google Maps): The walk departs from Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority parking lot at km 21.9 – BTC Ref Guide, Map 22, in the Blue Mountains section. Driving directions: If proceeding north from Primrose, go west on Highway 10 & 89 (combined) to Highway 124, then north (right) on Highway 124 to Singhampton. At Singhampton, turn right following Highway 124 east and in .75 km turn right on Mill Town Rd. and an immediate left on Ewing Rd., turn left on 17/18 Side Road, right on Concession 10 South, left on 15/16 Side Road, parking lot is on your right. A quiet walk west along the Bruce Trail through forest and under the eye of interesting Escarpment cliffs, peacefully crossing streams and then following the Nottawasaga Bluffs Lookout Trail, on and through the magical Keyhole Side Trail to re-join the Main Trail. Lunch break at a lookout point. After lunch we quietly continue through forest on the Main Trail to the Hamilton Brothers Side Trail and return to our start point. Hiking boots necessary for short, steep sections on and around the Keyhole Side Trail. Please bring lunch and water. A fine and humble way to appreciate Canada Day! - 02July 2, 2023

This hike takes us through Bayview Escarpment Nature Reserve offering great views from the edge of the escarpment. We will encounter deep crevices and high cliffs. Heading towards Woodford the trail goes through wooded areas with indicators of early settlements. - 11July 11, 2023

This will be a shuttle hike.From the parking area on 15/16 Sideroad we will shuttle to the start of the hike on 9/10 Sideroad. We will hike the main trail;( the first part of this trail is part of the Transcarioca Bruce Trail Friendship Trail.) We will hike back into Nottawasaga Bluffs Conservation Area and loop through the Conservation area using the main trail, Nottawasaga Lookout Side Trail, Keyhole Side Trail (this is a unique feature as we will be crawling through a hole in the rock wall), Betty Carter Side Trail and Hamilton Brothers Side Trail; a total of about 14 km. It is possible to shorten this hike, or for hikers to drop out of the hike, by eliminating a loop or side trail.
Bring water/beverage of choice, snacks, poles (optional) sunscreen, sun hat.
