    Location (Google Maps): Parking lot at km 31.7 Map 22.Take Hwy 10 North. At Primrose turn left then in 5 km turn right on County Rd. 124. Follow for 30 km. In village of Singhampton turn right and follow #124 for 4 km to Devil’s Glen parking on the right. Leader’s cell phone 905-301-4091.

    Description

    We will hike north from the Devil’s Glen parking lot as far as Simcoe Rd 91 where we will visit Frank’s Lime Kiln. (The Main Trail no longer follows Conc. 10). Return by the same route, possibly following 2 km of road on Conc. 10 (now a side trail) to shorten the distance.

    Description

    Join us as we explore the transitioning season of diverse ecosystems and lookouts over the Oak Ridges Moraine and Niagara Escarpment in the Glen Haffy Conservation Area. Mycology enthusiast Jonathan will be joining us on this Nature Walk.

    Location (Google Maps): Pear Tree parking lot, 15 Sideroad.
    Driving directions: From Highway 401 going west, turn right (north) on Road 25, left on 15 Sideroad, drive about 300 m to Pear Tree parking lot on the left.

    Description

    Will hike southwards from the parking lot, main Bruce Trail, Al Shaw Side Trail and parts of Hilton Falls Side Trail. Usual COVID precautions are prudent; maintaining social distance, keeping face mask handy.
    Ensure proper gear for the weather, dress in layers, poles are strongly recommended.
    Bring water and snack.

    Location (Google Maps): Parking at Fallbrook Trail / Sideroad 27 (where the Bruce Trail crosses Fallbrook Trail). Do not park near school.
    Driving directions: From Highway 401, north on Trafalgar Road, it will connect with Highway 7 – turn left, after about 4 km, turning right on Trafalgar Road (branching out), turn right on Sideroad 27, it will cross 8th Line, continue on Sideroad 27; at junction with Fallbrook Trail, turn right and park roadside.

    Location (Google Maps): Mount Nemo parking area on the west side of Walkers Line, across from the pioneer cemetery. A parking fee is charged.

    Description

    From the parking area we will access the trail into the conservation area. We will loop hike the main trail and side trails, including into the quarry area.

    Please check email before leaving home. Hike may be cancelled due to unpleasant weather.
