The trail enters a maple forest and follows the Escarpment through a mixed hardwood forest and crosses a farmer’s field. The trail meanders through a mature forest and heads back to the edge of the Escarpment past a lookout point. Descending through a cut in the cliff, the trail drops steeply to a stream at the base of the Escarpment. Bring a snack or lunch and water. Don’t forget to log your hike!
