    Length of Hike: 14 km

    Description

    We will head south on the trail,  west down Campbell’s Hill, up Graham’s Hill, then north to the Valley Crossover side trail and south back to Ed’s house. Bring snacks and sufficient water.

    Transportation

    All hikers are responsible for their own transportation to and from the hike.

    Currently, there are no car shuttles on hikes – all hikes must be out-and-back or loop hikes.

    2. Wear sturdy footwear and appropriate attire for the weather and the terrain.
      Hiking poles are a good idea in any season, especially if the terrain is rocky or slippery. In winter, snowshoes or icers/crampons are needed when conditions dictate.
      Wearing appropriate clothing and footwear prevents injuries and shows consideration for a safe and positive group hiking experience.
    3. Always carry I.D. and your health card.
    4. Bring sufficient water and snacks (or lunch if indicated). A minimum of 1L of water is recommended on all hikes, and 3L is recommended for long, challenging hikes in the heat of the summer.
    5. Bring sunscreen and insect repellent (for spring and summer hikes).

    Description

    This is an out and back hike beginning with a look at pretty Webwood Falls and then heading North West, for a time along escarpment features, to a view above Meaford, then returning to Webwood.

    Description

    We gather at the Epping Lookout, offering a beautiful view across the Beaver Valley. As we walk through the Young Wetland we may spot wildlife including, potentially, a beaver! Our Trail then takes us along the Escarpment ridge to the Sligo Side Trail. Wetlands, mature deciduous forest, and spruce and pine plantations make this a varied walk. Then we retrace our path along the Escarpment back to the Epping Lookout. Please bring adequate water and a snack.

    Description

    Loop hike on the Kolapore Church – Paradise Highway trails.  This is a good introduction to the Kolapore Wilderness Trails.

    This is a relaxing walk through the woods passing some cultivated fields, a there-and-back hike. Anthea’s Waterfall is one popular stop en route. Please bring adequate water and a snack.
