We will start the hike on Sideroad 13A and head north.  If we’re energetic we may add in the Sligo Side Trail.  Bring snacks and water.

We will hike through forested ravines and upland to the Loree Forest to loop the Len Gertler side Trail and back to our cars.  Bring snacks and water.

Description

Our hike will explore a number of side trails with historical and geological interest.  Bring snacks and water.  The hike will be followed by an optional potluck at the home of Jill & David (Smith) Brodie, 545413 Sideroad 4A Markdale.  Bring your meat/veggie item to be BBQ’d and a salad or dessert.  Also bring your own dishes, cutlery and beverage.  If you are attending the potluck only, arrival time is 4:30 p.m.  Register with the hike leader as well as the potluck hosts, Jill & David (toadhallbb@icloud.com  or 519 270 0076)
