Description

Join us for the Dan Welsh Memorial Hike. Dan passed away in 2019 and we will gather to hike in his memory.

Our hike starts at Kilbride Public School and will take us down into the valley. Once we cross Bronte Creek, we’ll hike the River & Ruin Side Trail, Cleaver Side Trail and Dan Welsh Side Trail then head back to Kilbride. Plan on 2.5-3 hours, depending on stops and stories.

Please wear plaid if you’d like. And you’re encouraged to share your favourite memory about Dan.

The Dan Welsh Memorial Badge, along with donuts and coke will be available complimentary (donations encourage) after our hike back at the parking lot, tailgate style, as Dan would’ve liked.
Any proceeds will go to the Iroquoia Bruce Trail Club.
