Description
We will meet at the Upper Parking lot at Crawford Lake Conservation Area at 10:00 a.m. and aim to leave by 10:15 a.m.
This hike is entirely stroller friendly, and geared towards getting the youngest hikers out on a leisurely explore. Yes, this means we will be stopping to look at bugs, cool rocks, or anything else that peaks your young hiker's interest. Or yours for that matter. We will start by exploring the newly reopened board walk around beautiful Crawford Lake itself. And, if the littlest hikers are still interested, we will mosey over to explore the long house village. There's lots of fun things to see there, too.
Please remember to bring water and snacks, and dress for the weather. There are washrooms, and an indoor area on the lower level of the visitor centre.
Reservations to Crawford Lake are not required, but will save you a little bit of money on gate fees and can be made online through https://www.conservationhalton.ca/parks/crawford-lake/
This hike is part of the Passport to Nature, you will receive a sticker for your Passport: Collect 4 stickers and get a badge, collect 9 different colour stickers and receive a BTC store gift card.
