Description
Join us on a 13.5 km hike from the Third Outlier to the South Outlier at Mono Cliffs. Most people know that there are North and South Outliers at Mono Cliffs, but the Third Outlier is a bit of mystery surrounded by the beautiful BTC Whitetail Refuge Nature Reserve. The place is wonderfully quiet and peaceful. One of my favourite places to go. We will be climbing up and down the escarpment three times so be prepared for elevation. Be ready for jewel weed, fleabane, New England astors, moss covered rocks, cliffs and hidden streams. Please bring a lunch, a snack, 2L of water, and a first aid kit. Hiking boots mandatory. Poles recommended. Please arrive at 9:00 am to be ready to hike at 9:15.
