Description
Join us for a special Bruce Trail Sing-a-long Hike. A relaxed, sociable hike that brings together fresh air, woodland scenery, and singing together.
Starting at Kilbride Public School, we’ll head north along the trail toward Calcium Pits, turning back just beyond this distinctive landmark. The round-trip route is approximately 8 km and will be travelled at a comfortable, group-friendly pace, with a few pauses along the way to gather, take in the landscape, and raise our voices.
We'll be joined by Conductor, Soprano Charlene Pauls www.charlenepauls.com who will lead us in 3–5 accessible songs selected especially for the hike. No choir experience is required, just a willingness to sing, hum along, and enjoy the music in good company. Song selections and lyrics will be shared with registered participants before the hike so everyone can come prepared.
Expect a memorable morning of trail time, community, and music among the escarpment landscape. Please wear sturdy hiking footwear, dress for the weather, and bring 1.5 L of water and any snacks you may need.
This hike is part of the Passport to Nature, you will receive a sticker for your Passport: Collect 4 stickers and get a badge, collect 9 different colour stickers and receive a BTC store gift card.
