Description

Celebrate autumn and the upcoming holidays with a march along the Bruce Trail and a visit to a local artisan market!  This hike is part of the Bruce Trail Conservancy’s “Passport to Nature” initiative.

First, we’ll do a leisurely march along the Bruce Trail, using the main trail and the Rockside Side Trail to make a 5 km loop.  After returning to our cars, those who would like to join me in extending their day of fun will make the 10-minute drive to Spirit Tree Estate Cidery to visit their “Handcrafted with Love” artisan market and to enjoy some post-hike refreshments including cider (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic varieties are available), pizza, and sweet bakery treats.

You should bring enough water and food for a 2-hour hike, comfortable hiking shoes, appropriate clothing for the weather, and cash/debit/credit if you intend to join us for shopping and lunch at Spirit Tree Estate Cidery (https://spirittreecider.com/) after the hike.
