*This is a bus hike; we will be meeting at the Ferndale Visitor's Center (2928 Hwy 6, Lion's Head, ON N0H 1W0) and bussing to the Jones Bluff Trailhead (bus departing at 12:30 pm)*

Join us for an immersive interpretive hike through the beautiful Jones Bluff in Neyaashiinigmiing. This walk invites participants to take a journey through time, exploring the land through the lenses of Anishinaabe knowledge-intertwining natural history, personal story, and community connection. Together, we'll consider how we relate to land and how land relates to us. During this exploration you will learn about the traditional plants and wildlife that play a pivotal role in the traditional and contemporary lives of the Anishinaabek people. Expect pauses for discussion, questions, and quiet observation as we deepen our connection to this powerful and storied landscape.
