Description
This is an exciting new partnering between the Dufferin County Canadian Black Association (DCCBA) and the Dufferin Hi-Land BTC to specifically introduce members of the DCCBA, BUT OPEN TO ANYONE interested in an introduction to hiking the Bruce Trail. We will be emphasizing the health and wellness benefits to be gained through nature walks, while also touching on the important topics of biodiversity, nature conservancy, trail development and maintenance and any other topic that may arise. IF you are a "beginner" and want to join us, please come prepared by wearing clothing suitable for the weather, wearing sturdy running shoes or sneakers (they may get muddy!) and bring a full re-usable water bottle - water will NOT be provided.
NOTE: IF the weather is TOO inclement - a "Rain Date" is set for Saturday September 21.
