    We will hike the Guelph to Goderich Trail in sections, as In and Out hikes (so you will do it twice!) https://g2grailtrail.com/

    Most hikes will be 20-25 km (we will hike 10-12 km one way, then head back to our cars). Two hikes are longer, as indicated by a star and a specific distance.
    We might need snowshoes, so make sure you bring a pair.

    The itinerary and GPs coordinates for the meeting locations are specified in the “Location” Section.
    For personalized driving directions, just copy and paste the GPS coordinates into a Google search window and voila!

    Description

    We will hike a loop consisting of the Walter Tovell, McCarston’s Lake and Lookout Side Trails and the Main Trail. The shorter hike will cut off of the Walter Tovell Side Trail at the Lookout Trail and return from the North Lookout. Bring icers, water, snacks. Snowshoes may be required.

    Description

    Hike the entire Niagara Section over 10 weeks.  Due to Covid19, we will be completing this as a series of in and out hikes.  This series will start in Grimsby and end in Queenston (83km).  Upon successfully completing the entire Niagara section you can purchase a Winter Niagara e2e badge.

    Meet at Lower Parking lot of Fireman’s Park, Dorchester Rd, Niagara Falls (just north of the train tracks).  Hike to the cairn at Queenston Heights Park and back.

    Badges will be available for purchase – $5.

    We recommend that you bring icers water, snacks and poles.

    Turn right/east, drive through Honeywood, continue east to Centre Rd.
    Turn left/north on Centre Rd and continue to 30 Sideroad. Turn right on 30 SR and continue to BTC Parking Area at km 53.9.

    Description

    We will hike south to km 49.7 where the trail meets Dufferin County Road 21/25th Sideroad and then return north via the same route. Pace will depend on trail conditions and presence of snow/ice or mud. Terrain has some gentle slopes and is mostly on an untravelled road allowance. May be modified if trail conditions require.
    Please bring snowshoes/microspikes and hiking poles, again as conditions require. Bring snacks/lunch etc.

    In about 2 km turn right/south on Centre Rd.

    Description

    We will hike the Guelph to Goderich Trail in sections, as In and Out hikes (so you will do it twice!) https://g2grailtrail.com/

    Most hikes will be 20-25 km (we will hike 10-12 km one way, then head back to our cars). Two hikes are longer, as indicated by a star and a specific distance.
    We might need snowshoes, so make sure you bring a pair.

    The itinerary and GPs coordinates for the meeting locations are specified in the “Location” Section.
    For personalized driving directions, just copy and paste the GPS coordinates into a Google search window and voila!
