    Description

    Climb the steps and walk the streets and trails of West Hamilton. We will hike sections of the Bruce Trail as well as the trails of Iroquoia Heights. There will be weekly walks all summer. Now we are all getting older we are not hiking as fast as we used to. Hike is cancelled if there is heavy rain.

    Difficulty: Intermediate

    This is #2 of 4 hikes to complete the main trail of the Niagara section. From our meeting location, we will car shuttle to parking on Map 3 where we will begin hiking back to our cars.

    Enter from Pelham Rd just east of Wessel Dr. Park only on the east side of the building.

    Meet at the south end of the parking lot for  a loop hike along the 14 mile Creek and back by the McCraney Trail.

    Description

    We will carpool to the parking lot at 15 / 16 Sideroad in Singhampton and explore the Nottawasaga Bluffs. This is a great place to snowshoe/hike, offering several options in length, difficulty, beauty and views. Bring a beverage and a light snack. Following the hike will be an optional lunch at Mylar and Loreta’s – one of our favorite restaurants.

    Description

    Oakville many ravines provide some interesting and good trails. We will explore some of these ravines. Meet in the parking lot of the Oakville Municipal offices on the east side of Trafalgar Rd. just north of the QEW and on the south side of White Oaks Blvd. Park in the area facing Trafalgar Rd.
